Educator
My mission, both in and outside of the classroom, is to create an exciting environment where students feel empowered to embrace empathy and are inspired to make bold, imaginative choices as artists!

I started my education career in 2021 as a summer camp teaching assistant at South Carolina Children's Theatre. After graduating from Furman University in 2022, I returned to South Carolina Children's Theatre as a full teaching artist and have now taught over 50 semester long classes and over 25 summer camps for students ages 3 to 17. I have taught a little bit of everything from social emotional learning, comedic timing, improvisation, playwriting, character building, audition skills, and theatrical design.

I became the Education Associate in April 2023. I am the point person for parents who are interested in our programs. I give recommendations based on the students' interests and match them to a teacher and class that support their needs. I manage our Financial Aid Program and all scholarship programs. In addition to my administrative role, I still teach our classes, lead residencies, and perform Tell Me a Story theatre both on-site and throughout the Upstate.
